At least 2+ hours is a decent play session, for me at least. patch, where I was CTD'ing maybe every 10-30 minutes. This is, sadly enough, still an improvement over the previous Feb. BUT I still get random CTD' maybe once every 2-5 hrs. I had to uninstall reinstall video drivers (again), clear shader cache (again), verify integrity of game files (again) but it's fine now. That said, upon initial install of the patch it was kind of a mess with texture draw in issues and other things. copies sold etc).Īnyway, for me the very latest patch improved overall performance - I no longer need the Engine-ini tweak parameters at all, gpu utilization is high (without the ini tweaks), I can bump up settings again without fps loss, frame pacing feels smoother (even better than what the Engine.ini tweaks did before). But forums do very often give an unbalanced perspective (especially vs. And no that's not me saying the game has no issues. Most people with no issues don't come to a forum, they're playing (or finished already). If this doesn't work for you, still.Автор сообщения: Carlos SpicywienerWould like to know if its just a few people experiencing this or if its more wide spread You can't really tell that from a forum. You have to go into a folder in your C: drive called Program Data (it's typically a hidden file so you have to turn those on to see it) and in the Hogwarts Legacy folder, delete any files/folders that are shader caches. If anyone else has this problem, it's the shader caches. I have a solution, now, was posted in the Hogwarts Legacy Discussions. Thanks, but that was the first thing I tried before I ever contacted Nvidia. The screen will go dark as if you were updating the drivers and after they come back on, it should work. The short version goes like this: click on start-> type "device manager" -> display adapters (it should show your graphics card model) ->right click on it -> properties -> roll back drivers. Windows 7: Click System and Security and then System. Windows Vista: Click System and Maintenance and then System or simply System (in Classic view). I have found the instructions on Nvidia website for windows 7 but it is not that hard for windows 10 as well. Автор сообщения: LockeagleHi, I found a solution for the problem: basically the drivers need to be rolled back to a previous version that worked with hogwarts legacy.
